NIACC CLASS: Motorcycle Rider Course
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic RiderCourse (updated) is a learn-to-ride education and training safety program that consists of the online MSF Basic eCourse to address basic motorcycle knowledge, five hours of classroom instruction with a RiderCoach to address rider perception and risk management, and 10 hours of on-cycle, hands-on instruction. A course completion card may provide an insurance discount. Riders must be able to balance a bicycle to participate in the riding portion of the course, and a riding skill test must be passed for successful completion.
The eCourse must be completed online prior to coming to class. The eCourse will take participants a minimum of 3 hours. 1 - 2 weeks prior to class a c code will be emailed to you. The code is needed to begin the course online. A completion certificate will be issued when the eCourse has been successfully completed. The certificate must be printed and brought to the first class. A short quiz over the eCourse materials will be given at the start of the first class. Class times are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm both days.
